About That!

So here I am two days into class and not really head over heels for any of my classes, had a "talk" with my advisor today, more like him chatting at me, and he was distraught that I had found a graduate program that I liked. He kept saying, "No Terri you should stay here and finish this degree..." Now I like him a lot, but seriously, don't give me shitty advice to make your numbers look good, do you think that I am not smart enough to figure out that your funding is directly derived from the number of students that you admit and hold in your department?....I have a degree, in Math....seriously, if I could not figure that out then maybe I should be stripped of my degree and thrown back to high school! Then he told me that maybe I should think about not registering for this religion class I am taking...You wanna know why kids get burned out? Because of advisors like this man, who push and push and push, how can a student be expected to take classes that are only going to help him or her towards their degree and not advance their being? Why can't they take one class that is a class of "interest" Anyway that is my rant for now, lots of stuff to do, may not post for another couple of days, sorry to all my daily readers...Mom!
