From UT at Austin to Virginia Univ. and from Ft Bragg to Ft Lewis
Not quite sure why I am in the ranting mood, maybe because I am white trash with pink eye, or maybe because when you are in the thick of it all you can actually sit back and take it all in...and then realize all the living you have lived (and missed) is all in the realm of the same instance.
Yesterday, I attended Nebraska Pride Idol, it is the gay counterpart to American Idol. My friend Josh was a finalist, one of the top ten of the entire few month competition. He was apart of that, he gets to record a song on a Nebraska Pride Idol CD...my friend Josh has a CD, he amazes me sometime! We were there to support him and in turn support Camp Kindle, which is a summer camp for kids that are infected with, or affected by AIDS. (You know. for once being coined the gay cancer, sent forth by God to rid the world of the evil agenda of "the gays", there was not much respect in that room last night.) Misty Stokes, NPI 2004, stood there in a room of roughly 120 people talking about Camp Kindle and why it was such a good cause, while they blatantly disregarded her. The people were loud and obnoxious, while she stood there and tried not to tear up....I turned around and told a couple to shut the hell up and respect the speaker...I was bombarded with, "shut up you fat bitch, we paid our money too..." what the fuck?
People in Omaha want to know why there is not a gay community, why we have no headliners that give a damn about po-dunk shitty ass Omaha...you wanna know why? Because we are hillbilly fags! I hate that word and although it turns my stomach to use it, I hate to admit it that this gay community are a bunch of whiney babies that don't deserve shit. You want rights and the ability to live your life freely, in any way that you seem fit, fuck that! The queers and dykes of Omaha take heed, if you don't change your rude, wannabe, attitudes this city will never change. We need to take the first step, life is not about getting what you want, it is about the push and pull of the life circle, one thing is for sure...death. No one can beat it, no one can change it, until we as a community come together and support each other, this circle is at a standstill. I hate to break it to you, this thing we call life is not for our own salvation, it is for the generations beyond us, our children, grand-children, for our brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews, all those that will occupy this world after we are gone. I do not fight for my gay rights, I fight for the sons and daughters that will need those rights in the future.
So to the nice homosexual man that told me to, "fuck off, and to fuck my mom and my dad..." this one is for you...in no way shape or form would I ever see you as a homosexual, you are not worthy of the title of "gay man" you are a catty pansy that will never create a change of good for others, and will always be wondering about what you deserve...well your answer is nothing! You do not deserve friendship, acknowledgement or the right to be gay. We do not want you part of our culture and I was embarrassed that you were apart of that crowd last night.
