Ah my First Time...Sort of!
Welcome to my first time...of blogging that is. I just found out recently what a "blog" was and for those of you that are wondering also...*Mom*...here is an explanation. "'Blog' is short for Web log, which can be anything from a news site to an online journal. Blogs allow you to instantly publish your thoughts and ideas from anywhere.
People all over the world have blogs. It's a fun and easy way to keep in touch with your friends, post links to interesting webpages, or just record your thoughts." I will be keeping this because as I have gotten older, and way popular I basically just don't have time to keep in touch... okay, okay, okay I admit it I just want to be cool like everyone else I know! Hello Terri - it was very nice to *meet* you over Dan's MSN. I hope that the dinner at Mariola's is cool and that you are enjoying Liege.

John here. Leige is awesome isnt it? I think I may be able to swing one more trip there in April, but dont know it the powers that be will allow it. Have to agree with your comment about the folks there and english, but you survive. Just watch what you order at the resturants - you might be in for a suprise. Oh and if you havent experienced it yet, they arent in any hury for you to get your meals.
Have Dan take you to the City Center (he should know what it is). Not only do they have a MickyDs, but it is where all of the good bars and such are (the district is right next door as well (wink)(wink)). A great place to visit is the Irish Pub (everyone will know where it is). Great food and good music (live bands on the weekends).
All in all take in the great architecure and history. If you want some good WWII stuff, have Dan take you to Ardennes, Eben Emal, or Cann (I think that is how it is spelt).
Drink as much Duval as you can, baring that the local beer is Jupiler, and I will admit it is tasty.

By the way Terri, I can tell you where the gay bars in liege are as well I think. Susan and mine's MD told us.
