UIC here I come!....I think?....
So in the mail today I received an envelope, from UIC, University of Illinois at Chicago...my heart sank. Maybe it's because ever since I was little I have loved the city of Chicago, or maybe it's the trips that I have taken over the last few years that have me really appreciate that city, I am not sure...but I started thinking, that maybe this was the one, that one school that could make everything happen for me. Or maybe it could be that one rejection letter that sets me over the edge...whatever it was or may be , it made me reel on my heels. This one I thought, this is the one that I must make perfect, the essay, the letters of recommendation...everything, it has to be perfect! So here I am staring at the application, wondering if maybe this could be the letter that says, Dear Ms so-and-so, we are happy to inform you that you will be part of the graduate class of 2006-2007 school year....oh and by the way we have included a check for $100,000 for any schooling expenses that you might occur during your stay in Chicago...It's nice to dream isn't it?
